Handling questions about data in the Family Information Directory

E-mail Print PDF

The Family Information Directory (FIDy) contains data from many sources so it is sometimes difficult to know where to direct customer or provider enquiries about inaccurate, incomplete or missing data.  Following feedback from FISs, the FIDy team has produced a ‘decision tree’ to help you identify the most appropriate place to direct enquiries.

There was a lot of interest in the diagram at the NAFIS conference so we hope that you will all find it useful. Note that there is quite a bit of detail in the chart so it works best if printed in colour at A3 size.

E-mail Print PDF

ofsted.jpgIn the past couple of weeks a number of FIS have sent through questions for Ofsted which NAFIS have taken up on your behalf. Ofsted have now responded to our request and a copy of their responses can be downloaded by clicking below.

We will also be uploading the individual Q&As onto the Ofsted FAQ section of the website.
